Rawalpindi buildings tend to differ from newer Islamabad developments. A lot of the work we are called for here involves older plazas and commercial buildings around Saddar and Satellite Town where a lift has been running for years without a proper service history, alongside new residential and commercial construction in areas such as Bahria Town, DHA and PWD.

On an older installation the first useful step is usually a condition survey: what state the controller, door gear, ropes and safety components are in, whether parts are still available for the equipment, and whether repair, modernization or replacement gives the building the longer life for the money.
For new construction the questions are different — shaft dimensions, pit depth, overhead clearance, power supply and the traffic the building will carry. Either way we survey before quoting, and the same team that installs the lift is the one that maintains it afterwards.

- No. Our office is at G-7 Markaz, Islamabad, and our teams travel to Rawalpindi sites from there. The drive is short enough that survey visits and maintenance calls are handled the same way as in Islamabad.
- How quickly can you attend a breakdown in Rawalpindi?
- Response depends on the time of day, traffic and whether the building is under a maintenance contract. Contract clients are attended first because we already hold the equipment history.
- Can you take over a lift installed by another company?
- Yes. We survey the existing installation, report what condition it is in and what parts are available for it, and then propose either a maintenance schedule, targeted repairs or modernization.
- What information do you need for a quotation?
- Building type, number of floors to be served, whether a shaft already exists and its rough dimensions, and the intended use. For anything beyond a budget figure we survey the site first.
